The second Business Intelligence Forum – Business Outlook 2023 was held

The BUSINESS OUTLOOK 2023 forum, organized by the Business Intelligence Club (BIC), was held at the Metropol Hotel on December 15th in the presence of business leaders from Serbia and abroad.

Thematically, the forum was divided into several parts: GLOBAL TRENDS AND RISKS, BEING A DEBTOR OR A CREDITOR? and ILLOGICAL THINKING AND QUIET LEADERSHIP. The topic “Silent leadership” is also the bearer of the latest issue of Business Intelligence Review, a business magazine edited and published by the Business Intelligence Institute, which was also presented at the event.

After the welcoming speech of the director of the Business Intelligence Institute, Mrs. Liliana Lapadatoni, CEO of Marsh Adria, a leading insurance broker in Serbia and the Adria region, presented the forum in the section on global trends and predictions for 2023.

The latest macroeconomic indicators and trends managed by the National Bank of Serbia were presented by Vice Governor Ana Ivković in her address to the guests. The vice-governor informed those present about the latest interest rates published by the FED, the European Central Bank, as well as the predictions for 2023.

In the part dedicated to leadership, Mr. Nebojša Matić, owner and CEO of MikroElektronika, in the form of an interview conducted by Aleksandar Plavšin, director of BII, shared how the “principle of illogical thinking” can help in business. Mr. Matić talked about the biggest risks, challenges and decisions he had in his career, which influenced his company to become and remain one of the most stable in the world of microelectronics.
